Martha's Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard is an island located off the coast of Massachusetts in the United States. It is known for so many things but for me it's the picturesque beaches, six unique towns, the fishing village of Menemsha with the BEST sunsets on the east coast, and an abundance of outdoor adventures like fishing, biking, horseback riding, and endless hiking trails managed but the numerous conservation organizations.

The island has a very rich history, with Native American settlements dating back thousands of years, and was later discovered by European explorers in the 1600s. In fact, so many of the names of our favorite places are Wampanoag or deprived from a Wampanoag name.

Martha's Vineyard is an extremely popular vacation destination, attracting visitors from around the world. Did you know that the island population more than doubles during the summer months?! Many visitors find themselves returning year after year and bringing along new generations and friends and sharing in the magic of Martha's Vineyard. What was it like to grow up on Martha's Vineyard? I get this question all the time and the answer is that it was amazing, beautiful, fun, safe, a little boring in the winter....and I also have nothing else to compare it to. My family still lives there (we're 3rd generation) and bring my kids home for visits have already created so many incredible experience and lasting memories. I love being able to experience the island all over again through their eyes. I hope you get to visit soon!
